The Government of Tamilnadu has authorised Anna University for conducting the Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) for admission to MCA Degree Programmes offered in colleges in Tamilnadu.

A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level and obtained at least 50 % (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

(b) 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years Pattern

(c) (i) 10+2+AMIE*

 (or)

 (ii) 10+3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE*

(a) The Candidate should pass BCA / B.Sc Computer Science / Maths, Physics, Statistics, Applied Sciences or b) B.Com, B.B.M, B.B.A, B.L.M, B.A Corporate Secretaryship / Economics, Degree with Business Mathematics and Statistics / Maths, Statistics of B.Sc Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics or B.E/ B.Tech / MBA or degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the +2 Level
