• As per the norms of the Anna University / Tamil Nadu State Government (Based on the +2 marks) and TNEA Counselling.

Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.

• Most Backward class Community (MBC) & DNC of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with a minimum average of 40% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• SCA/SC/ST community of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with a minimum average of 40% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

B. HSC (Vocational) :

    For candidates belonging to

• Other Communities (OC) of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with a minimum average of 50% in the related subjects and Vocational subjects (theory and practical’s) put together
• Backward class Community (BC) and BC (Muslims) of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with a minimum average of 45% in the related subjects and Vocational subjects (theory and practical’s) put together.
• Most Backward class Community (MBC) & DNC of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with a minimum average of 40% in the related subjects and Vocational subjects (theory and practical’s) put together.
• SCA/SC/ST Community of Tamil Nadu State: A pass with a minimum average of 40% in the related subjects and Vocational subjects (theory and practical’s) put together rage of 50% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. For candidates of Backward class Community (BC) and BC (Muslims) of Tamil Nadu State: a minimum average of 45% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. • The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
  • 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy (Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
  • 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates, filled based on merit as per the guidelines of TGCHE, Hyderabad
  • In addition to the above, 10% of the seats on convener quota are admitted under EWS category
  • In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
