Abdul Kalam University Lucknow (A.K.T.U.). conducts examination named State Entrance Examination ( SEE ) Minimum academic qualification to appear in the said exam is a pass out/appearing ( 10+2 ) standard Examination. All the reservations are applicable as per UP government rules and regulations.

• A candidate must be 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. For General / OBC category students, a minimum of 45% aggregate (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths)
• For SC/ST category students, a minimum of  40% aggregate (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths)

Candidates who have passed diploma ( with minimum 60% marks) recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engg./ Tech. or B.Sc from any recognized University except agriculture Engg. are eligible for admission to second year in any branch of Engg./ Tech.
