Admission to the institute a candidate must valid rank of qualifying examination (WBJEE/JEE(Main)/CEE-AMPAI-WB).

Admission based on Merit.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age. There is no upper age limit.
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board with:
Individual pass marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science)
Minimum of 45% marks in the Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science) taken together as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks in the said qualifying examination.

The candidate must have passed Class 10th from a recognized board.
He/ She must have studied Science and English in the qualifying examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
The minimum percentage required for admission is 50% in the Class 10th board.
Relaxation is given to candidates with sports quota, PwD, or reserved category candidates.
