Admission will be offered based on scores secured in IUTAT  / JEE (Main) / TBJEE  or any other state government entrance examination to enrol in B.Tech Program.

Provisional admission will be made on the basis of the Provisional Admission Letter for a seat of Jadavpur University issued by the WB-JEE for Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to Engineering, Medical/Technological Degree Colleges at any of the Reporting Centers provided the candidate satisfies the prescribed following medical fitness (except for candidates applying under Physically Challenged quota).

• The Candidates Pass in 10+2 with an aggregate 45% (40% in case of ST, SC, OBC students) marks in Class XII examination or its equivalent with a pass in each of the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English subjects.
• 10+2 students awaiting their final examination results can also apply.

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination of a University/Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English are eligible for provisional admission to the First Year Class of the aforesaid Undergraduate Engg/Tech/Arch/ Pharm courses.
