    Admission Details

    The admission process is totally under the strict control of APSCHE and according to the guidelines mentioned in the various G.Os released by the Andhra Pradesh Government. The seat allocation will be made under 2 categories.

    • Category A: 70% of the total seats are filled through APEAMCET conducted by APSCHE.
    • Category B: 15 % of the above seats are filled by APSCHE under Category B, while the remaining 15% of seats are filled by the college Management, as per the guidelines of the APSCHE.

    Common entrance tests will be conducted for the students aspiring for UG courses in engineering in Andhra Pradesh. The rank is given by considering 75% weightage for marks obtained in the common entrance test and 25% weightage for marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Seats are allotted through Web counselling conducted by APSCHE for 70% of the seats (Category – A). The students can choose any particular branch of engineering in any of the engineering colleges in order of their preference. The government allocates the seats to the students through an online process based on merit and rank in EAMCET for UG courses. 10% of the seats will be allocated for the lateral entry students, who will be admitted into the II Year B.Tech course after a diploma based on ECET rank.

    • The Management admits candidates for the Management and NRI quota based on merit and should possess first class is optional. subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
    • The Convener of ECET admits 10% of the candidates from the stream of Diploma Holders should pass in a diploma from Andhra Pradesh State Government or an equivalent examination.

    Eligibility Criteria

    The candidate has passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

    A candidate should possess the eligibility of 10+2 qualification from Board of Intermediate, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as his/her optional subjects, or any other equivalent examination recognized as equivalent there to. A student to step in four-year degree course in Engineering except NRI quota must qualify in “ENGINEERING,AGRICULTURE & PHARMACY COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (EAPCET), a State-Level Entrance Test conducted by the Govt.
