Regular: The College is affiliated to JNTUK, Kakinada. The student admissions are governed by the rules and regulations of APSCHE. The student admissions are based on the rank obtained in EAMCET for B.Tech.

Lateral Entry: 10% of students (additional intake) are allotted for students who complete three years diploma to join in the 2nd year B.Tech program. The admissions are governed by the rules and regulations of APSCHE and ECET.

Management: 30% of the sanctioned intake is being filled through ‘B’ category admissions with the eligibility criteria laid down by the Govt.

The seats shall be filled either based on rank obtained in EAMCET or on securing not less than 50% in aggregate or group subjects (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

The Candidate should passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

• A Candidate should have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry group subjects
• Any other Examinations equal to Intermediate Recognized by the university
• They have to qualify in the EAMCET Conducted by the Govt of A.P.
• The department provides necessary training to impart employability skills to its students.
• The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.
