The admission is specified in the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Govt. of Kerala. The merit & management students are directed by the Chief Entrance Commissioner according to the Entrance ranking through online counseling. 50% of seats are free seats, 35% of seats are management seats, and 15% of seats are reserved for NRI students selected directly on a merit basis.

Admission is based on the Kerala Entrance Examination (KEAM) and should follow the procedures given by the Controller of Entrance Examination.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Management Quota:

A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of the Department of Higher Secondary Education, Vocational Higher Secondary Examination of Department of Vocational Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala, or examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together.

NRI Quota:

A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of the Department of Higher Secondary Education, Vocational Higher Secondary Examination of Department of Vocational Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala, or examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together. 

Merit Quota :
