All the eligible candidates for admission into the First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted by the EAMCET Convener strictly following the rank secured at the Entrance Examination and keeping the rules applicable in view, regarding the reservation of seats of various categories of candidates.

Admission through common entrance tests/competitive examinations conducted by national bodies like JEE/State Common Entrance Test/ Qualifying Examination on merit.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

• For admission in Engineering programs, the candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination in relevant subjects with at least 60% of marks in the qualifying examination at 10+2 / Intermediate level and admission through common entrance tests/competitive examinations conducted by national bodies like JEE/State Common Entrance Test/ Qualifying Examination on merit.
