    Admission Details

    As per AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) norms, 70% of students of UG and PG programs are admitted through centralized admissions organized by the Government (EAMCET for UG and GATE/PGECET for M.Tech). The remaining 30% of students (B-category, i.e. Management/NRI) are admitted by the institution. Advertisement is given by the institution in popular regional newspapers calling for applications for B-category seats. Merit list is prepared from the applications received, and placed on the notice boards. 20% of the seats for lateral entry admissions for diploma holders into the second year are made by the convener, E-CET.

    • 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category).
    • Admissions for Category – A seats are conducted by the Convener, EAMCET Admissions through web counseling based on the EAMCET rank of the candidates and the rules of reservation for admission into professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
    • B- The college management fills category seats following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.
    • Candidates who have passed the two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or its equivalent with not less than 45% of marks in the prescribed group subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible for admission. However, the order of priority for the selection of candidates for admission is the rank in JEE (Mains), rank in EAMCET, and marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.

    Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
