The seats shall be filled either based on rank obtained in EAMCET or on securing not less than 50% in aggregate or group subjects (Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

• The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada is conducting an Engineering, Agriculture, & Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) for admission into the above courses under the supervision of A.P.S.C.H.E., Govt. of A.P.
• 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, EAMCET admissions, based on the Rank obtained in the above test. 30% of the seats are filled by the Management.

• A Candidate should have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry group subjects
• Any other Examinations equal to Intermediate Recognized by the university
• They have to qualify in the EAMCET Conducted by the Govt of A.P.
• The department provides necessary training to impart employability skills to its students.
• The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.

The candidate must have passed in +2 class examination or its equivalent, and also the test result of the Common Engineering Entrance Test is conducted by the Government of A.P. All the scheduled dates are followed as per the Directions of the Convener, EAMCET Admissions, Government of A.P.
