Admission to a program of study in a teaching department of the University shall be made on the basis of written objective type Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) by the Admission Committee of the Department concerned with the approval of the Dean Academic Affairs.

Admission to all the M.Sc in the Faculty of Science shall be made on merit in the CUET PG 

A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.

A candidate must have passed the B.Sc (Hons.)/B.Sc. with 10+2+3 pattern with any two of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Industrial Microbiology, Life Science, Environmental Sciences & Secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned degree.
