Admission Details

The Admissions WBJEE. According to the present Government of West Bengal norms, candidates without a WBJEE rank are eligible for admission to our college, provided there are vacant seats after counseling.

The candidate who has passed the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or JEE (MAIN) Examination in the current year and recommended by Central Selection Committee is eligible for admission.
Admission through the Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made strictly on the basis of current year merit and the preference of candidates in the Common Entrance Examination for admission through the Lateral Entry Scheme (i.e. JELET) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

Eligibility Criteria

For B. Tech.: Candidates need to have cleared 10+2 ( P.C.M.) Higher Secondary/ Sr. Secondary Exam or equivalent courses from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in aggregate.

B.Tech (Lateral Entry): After passing Diploma Engg. / B.Sc (Hons.) with a 60% average and no backlog from any AICTE-approved institute, along with a valid rank in JELET, students can apply for lateral admission in the 2nd-year 3rd Semester.

The Candidate should pass minimum aggregate of 45 % marks and 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
