Admission Details
Admission to any course will be made based on the merit list from the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) for Engineering to be conducted by the West Bengal Board of Examination for admission to Engineering Degree Colleges, or through the merit list of JEE Main conducted by the Central Board of Higher Secondary Education.
Admissions to All candidates should have a valid rank of WBJEE / JEE Main.
Eligibility Criteria
The admission to the B.Tech Degree course must have passed or appeared in 10+2 (Higher Secondary or equivalent examination) with English and with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates) in Physics and Mathematics (Compulsory) along with Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects (Engineering Drawing/Computer Science) taken together for being eligible. If at the time of admission, the results of 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary or equivalent examination) are not declared, the applicant has to give an undertaking that if he/she fails to pass the examination, he/she will withdraw his/her name from the Institution.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
