The students will have to appear for the state-level common entrance test (CET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai, or the CET conducted by the Maharashtra Association of MCA Institutes (MAMI). The applicants will have to submit CET scores.

First and Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry and Separate Division)

(1) For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir MigrantCandidature Candidates-

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only);

(iii) Studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at (10+2) level or at Graduate level examination;

(iv) For Direct second year admissions, the candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications or Science (Information Technology or Computer Science);

(v) Obtained score in MAH-MCA-CET.

(2) Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National-

(i) Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent;

(ii) Studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at (10+2) level or at Graduate level examination;

(iii) For Direct second year admissions, the candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications or Science (Information Technology or Computer Science).

The candidate has passed a graduated from a recognized University with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or graduation and a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for the open category and 45% for the reserved category.
