Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the four years B.E. degree course should have passed two years of P.U.C. / 12th examinations conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Visveswaraya Technology University and should have obtained a minimum of 45% of aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

Category: SC/ST & OBC (Cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A 3B) Candidates

Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the four years B.E. degree course should have passed two years of P.U.C. / 12th examinations conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Visveswaraya Technology University and should have obtained a minimum of 40% of aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

• Students who have passed PUC/10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology, with at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
• Lateral Entry to Second Year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E): Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
