    Eligibility Criteria

    • The applicant should be an Indian Citizen. Applications will be entertained from candidates who have passed the H.S. (10+2) examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST Candidates) in physics, chemistry, biology, or mathematics and passed each subject (Theory& Practical). The minimum Percentage in English is 30% (for all categories) under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination of a recognized board or council.
    • Diploma holders in Pharmacy, qualified in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (WBJELET) are eligible for entry to the 3rd semester (2nd year) of the B. Pharm Course.
    • Age: Candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 1st January of the year for admission.

    • Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually.
    • Candidate shall have obtained at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidate belonging to reserve category) in the above three subjects taken together.
    • “However, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms-based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharm Course.” 
    • Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
    • Candidate should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
