The admission through based on the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)

• Admission to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme is conducted through the Uttar Pradesh AYUSH Undergraduate Counselling Board, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The admission process is based on eligibility criteria prescribed by the competent authority and is carried out through centralized online counselling. Seats are allotted to eligible candidates according to their merit, choice filling, and availability of seats, in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).

The basic requirement for eligibility to get admission to the BAMS program is qualifying for the 12th Standard with science stream or any other equivalent examination recognized by the concerned state government and education boards, provided the candidates pass the examination with 50% aggregate marks in subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects, and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the case of the General category, and 40% marks in the case of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). The candidate must also have qualified the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).
