Admissions to the MBA program are carried out based on merit marks of the entrance test(CMAT). The admissions are carried out by the Director, of Technical Education, Government of M.P through online off-campus counseling. 

• Admission to the College of Management Studies (MBA COLLEGE CODE - 050) is offered based on the score in UPSEE (an entrance examination conducted by AKTU to get admission in the university-affiliated programs) followed by counseling of AKTU Lucknow. The final merit list is prepared considering the marks obtained in the entrance examination as well as in their previous qualifying examination.
• Seats may also be filled through direct admissions from seats remaining after counseling.
• Management Quota seats are also available.
• As per the latest guidelines Government sponsored Post Matric Scholarships are available only to students admitted through AKTU for General and SC students. OBC and Minority students are eligible to avail themselves of government scholarships subject to the eligibility criteria, for example - minimum marks of 60%.

• Candidates seeking admission in the MBA (Business Analytics) program must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any Indian or Foreign University/Institute recognized by Jiwaji University.
• A candidate who has appeared in the final year of the qualifying degree examination during the current academic session as a regular or private candidate but whose result is yet to be declared can also apply on a provisional basis. But such candidates must produce a certificate of having passed the qualifying degree examination before the last date fixed in this respect by the Institute, failing which his/ her admission may be canceled. The fee and other charges paid by him/her will not be refunded in any case.

Bachelor’s degree of minimum 03 years duration from any recognized university of India, passing clearly without grace marks with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks for General & OBC and 45% for SC/ST category.
