The selection process is as below:

• Personal Interview-1(PI-1) Telephonic round: It has marks.
• Personal Interview-2(PI-2): Skype/ WhatsApp call: It has marks.
• Online case study Analysis under controlled environment: It has marks.

The IIM admission process for the Institute consists of:

• CAT Examination
• Shortlisting candidates for Personal Appearance (PA) process.
• Conducting the PA process. PA process is composed of Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The PA process will be common to IIMs which are participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP).
• Preparing the Merit List based on CAT score, WAT & PI score, and Profile score as indicated in the following tables.

1. IIM Selection Criteria for Shortlisting to PA (WAT & PI) process

The cut-off percentile marks for IIM eligibility to the PA process in the three sections and the total CAT percentile for different categories of students are given below:

IIM Udaipur Admission Committee will decide the MBA program requirements for the Institute and the final number of candidates who would be called for the PA process on the basis of criteria prepared for each category. However, if the actual number of short-listed candidates is found to be less (or more) than the required number of candidates to be called for WAT & PI category-wise, then the overall as well as the section-wise minimum score would be reduced (or increased) to get the desired number of candidates.

The IIMs who are participating in the CAP have decided to adopt a common admission process (CAP 2020 process) of WAT & PI to be coordinated this year by IIM Ranchi. The scores obtained by the candidate in WAT & PI of CAP 2020 would be considered for preparing the merit list

2. IIM Selection Criteria for Preparing the Merit List

The IIM eligibility criteria for preparing the merit list will be as follows :

• CAT Score*: 55%
• Personal Appearance (WAT & PI): 21%
• Profile: 24%

*CAT Score of the candidate divided by Maximum CAT Score among candidates who have applied to IIMU and attended WAT & PI. It is clarified that the CAT Score would be used and not the CAT Percentile.

a. CAT Score: IIM Udaipur will use CAT 2019 score

b. Personal Appearance: IIM admission criteria of the Institute will consider the following weights :

• Written Ability Test (WAT): 6%
• Personal Interview (PI): 15%

Candidates who do not obtain certain minimum scores in the WAT & PI will not be considered for the merit list. The minimum scores will be decided by IIM Udaipur at its discretion.

c. Profile: The following will be the breakup of the 24% component for Profile:

• Academic Profile: 10%
• Work experience: 6%
• Diversity: 8%

i. For Academic Profile, the following will be the weights:

• 10th Standard: 2%
• 12th Standard: 2%
• Under Graduation: 4%
• CA/CS/ICWA (completed): 2%

The following would be the basis for scoring candidates in respect of their academic profiles:

ii. For Work Experience following will be the basis for scoring candidates:

*Only completed months will be considered.

**Only full time and regular engagements will be considered as work experience. A valid proof with the date of appointment, date of relieving and work experience certificate will be mandatory at the time of registration for the program.

iii. Diversity:

Aspirants seeking admission to Taxila PGDM must have min 50% marks in graduation for General and 45% for reserved category as per AICTE norms. Students appearing in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

• An undergraduate/ bachelor's degree with a min aggregate of 50%( 45% for SC/ST/PWD quota).
• The undergraduate degree obtained by the candidate must comprise of a minimum of three years of education after the higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
• In case the candidate is awarded CGPA, the equivalent percentage would be based on the methodology provided by the institution/university from where the undergraduate degree was obtained.
• Candidates appearing in their final year of under graduation can also apply for the IIMs candidature, provided the Head of the Institution provides a certified document stating the concerned details.
