The admission shall be on the basis of JEE Main entrance exam.

Admission is done through National level entrance examination (SRMJEEE) conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology or authorized /statutory boards or agencies. In addition to the above, the eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination.

Any Candidate qualified in IIT JEE Main will be admitted directly even if the candidate doesn't take SRMJEEE.

• 10+2 with minimum 5 subjects passed with minimum 50% marks.
• Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects for all B.Tech. programs except Biotechnology/Biomedical/Agriculture Informatics. For B.Tech. Lateral Entry - Candidates who have a 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government, or passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with atleast 60% marks and passed Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject may be admitted directly to 2nd year of B.Tech. Program.

The candidate should have Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) with 60% marks or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ICSE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
