    You are required to take the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET).

    Admissions to the BDS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG)

    Eligibility Criteria

    • The student must be an Indian National and should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the concerned academic year to get admission in bds colleges in Ghaziabad.
    • Candidates seeking admission into bds colleges in up to the B.D.S course should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSSC) examination/(10+2) or the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination or any other examination equivalent to (10+2) HSSC examination of any recognized Board/University, from any school/college situated in India after 12 years of study with a minimum of 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300 marks) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and passes English subject, and shall qualify the NEET Examination conducted by Govt. of India.

    Subjects To Be Studied in Qualifying Exam:

    • Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests in these subjects) AND
    • Mathematics or any other elective subject with English as prescribed by the NCERT.

    Qualifying Exam:

    • Candidates have to pass a recognized Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after 12 years of study.
    • NIOS candidates are eligible for now subject to the matter subjudice in the court.
    • Students from Foreign/International Boards are eligible if their qualifying exam meets the equivalency determined by the Association of Indian Universities (MU) as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University.

    Required Pass Percentage in 10+2 Or Equivalent:

    • Unreserved candidates and OCI, NRI, and foreign candidates.
    • Must have secured at least 50% in their qualifying exam in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Bio-technology taken together.
    • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes (OBC) must have secured 40%.
    • PwD candidates must have secured 45% in their qualifying exam.
