    Admission Details

    • The admissions to colleges of the University of Delhi are based on merit/entrance criteria depending on the course selected by an aspiring student.
    • Applicants seeking admission to UG merit-based programmes/courses & UG entrance test based must register on a centralized admission Web Portal.
    • Online Registration: The applicants seeking admission to UG merit-based programme/course must register through online registration,
    • Cut-offs: The applicants must check the centralized Admission Web Portal and the college website for detailed cut-offs for different programmes/courses.
    • Selection of Programmes: The applicants who meet the requisite cut-off should log in to the UG admission portal using their registration account and select college/programme where the applicant wishes to take admission and meets the desired cutoff criterion.
    • Verification of documents: The applicant shall take the print out of the admission/registration form and together with the list of documents/certificates, proceed to the respective college for verification of mark-sheet/certificates, calculation of cut-off percentage depending on the programme/course.
    • Approval of admission: The College will retain the original certificates of an approved applicant in order to avoid multiple admissions. The certificates will remain with the colleges during the admission process. After this, the college will approve the admission on the UG admission portal. However, the colleges shall promptly return the documents in case the student withdraws/cancels the admission or student wishes to appear in counselling of any other university/ institute.
    • Online payment of admission fee: The applicant will then be required to log-in to the UG admission portal to make the online admission fee payment through the available online payment options. The approved applicant is permitted to make online admission fee payment till 12 noon of the next day of the last day of admission.

    The written test is designed to evaluate the aptitude of the candidates to pursue a Bachelor of Management Studies.

    Eligibility Criteria

    A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) School leaving examination conducted by CBSE/ISC or any recognized board.

    For General Category - The minimum percentage of marks required for admission for Hons. Courses are 45% aggregate and 40%  for Vocational Courses in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi passing in four subjects (one language and three elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

    For Reserved Category - (a) Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe - The minimum eligibility requirement for the scheduled caste / scheduled tribe candidates will be that they must have passed the qualifying school examination. Where the admission is based on screening /written test, the SC/ST candidates would also be required to take the test but their merit list will be drawn separately.

    (b)Other Backward Classes - The   OBC candidates shall be given a relaxation in the minimum eligibility in the qualifying examination and in the minimum eligibility(if any) in the admission entrance test to the extent of 10% of the minimum eligibility marks prescribed for the general category candidates. All those OBC candidates who meet the minimum eligibility marks in the qualifying examination and the minimum eligibility marks (if any) in the entrance test shall be eligible for admission in order of their merit, keeping in view the availability of seats reserved for them. The OBC candidates who belong to the ‘Non-Creamy  Layer’ and whose castes appear in the Central  List of the OBCs only shall be eligible to be considered for admission under the OBC category.

    (c) Persons With Disabilities - As per the provisions of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, not less than five percent (5%)  seats  are  reserved  for  Persons  with Benchmark  Disabilities, where  “person  with benchmark disability” means a person with not less than forty percent (40%)  of a specified disability  where  specified  disability  has  not been   defined  in  measurable terms and includes  a  person with  disability   where specified disability  has  been defined  in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority.  It may be noted that the erstwhile Persons with Disability Act, 1995, under which reservation for Persons with Disabilities in admissions was provided earlier has now been repealed.
