Provided that a candidate seeking admission directly after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor's degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) & other categories of candidates & passed Ph.D. entrance examination of JSPM University.

• 4-year undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech.) or a Master’s degree in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks in their eligibility examinations or an equivalent CGPA.
• Candidates with a high score in national/state-level qualifying exams such as NET (UGC, CSIR, ICMR, DBT, ICAR), JAM, PERA, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, NMAT, GATE, or GRE will be preferred
• Candidates may avail themselves of any existing fellowship during the PhD program
• Due consideration would be given to candidates with experience as research assistants/fellows working with recognized research institutions/industries during the admission process
