Admissions to the BDS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).

Admission to the course shall be based on the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Board of Examinations. Advertisements are released in all leading dailies during January / February for the application of the entrance examination.

• Minimum qualification PUC 2nd year/12th Std/Equivalent Examination with English as one of the languages mandatory
• Declared as qualified in NEET  based  on NEET Score and NEET percentile
• Minimum of 50% as aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology *(40% for SC/ST/OBC category candidates & 45% for Physically disabled candidates)
• The  SC/ST/OBC category candidates eligibility criteria are applicable for Karnataka-origin candidates only

• The candidate must have completed 17 Years of age at the time of admission or shall complete this age as on the 31st December of the Admission Year.
• He/ She should be medically fit to undergo the course and practice dentistry.
• Have passed the Karnataka II PUC examination or an equivalent examination in CBSE, ICSE, or State Boards with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages.
• Have secured 50% Marks in these three subjects and English taken together. However, for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum marks are 40%.
