Admissions to the BDS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). The selection of students to the dental college shall be based solely on the merit of the candidate and for determining merit.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Marks in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test’ held by the National Testing agency for the said academic year + minimum prescribed marks at the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th Standard) or equivalent examination as prescribed by the respective central council
For admission to the BDS course, the candidate should have passed the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually and must have obtained at least 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination i.e., 10 + 2 /HSC or equivalent. The student needs to appear in all India medical entrance exams or the Common Entrance Test (CET) to get admission to the Bachelor in Dental Surgery Course. Candidate should be 12th pass in PCB with 50% marks.
