• 70% of intake i.e., “Category-A Seats” will be filled by the Convener, TSEAMCET based on the merit rank obtained in state level entrance examination-TSEAMCET.

Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. ORPassed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks(40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR CATEGORY - A

• must have passed the intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the JNTUH as equivalent thereto.
• shall have to qualify in the EAMCET examination conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
• Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR CATEGORY - B

A candidate for admission to the first year of 4-year B.Tech. degree programme under Category-B must have secured 60% of marks in the intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the JNTUH as equivalent thereto.
