A candidate for admission to LL.B. semester course has to qualify at the LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year. The candidates will be admittedly strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidates.

• The student has passed the requirements for seeking admission to a 3-year law course. The qualifications needed are only 12th and a three-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into a 3-year law course,
• The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2), and graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
• And the Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.

A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
