    A candidate for admission to the LL.B. semester course has to qualify at the LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year or opt for the management seat. The LAWCET candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidates.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • The candidate should be of Indian Nationality. 
    • A Rank in TSLAWCET.
    • The Candidates for the 3-year LL.B. Course should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned, with 45% of aggregate marks for the general category (OC/BC), 42% for the OBC Category, and 40% for the SC/ST.
    • The OBC candidates applying for the TSLAWCET shall invariably submit their OBC certificate issued by the competent authority to support 42% of aggregate marks in the Graduation. 
    • Candidates who have passed the Degree examination by a single sitting without undergoing a year's course either through regular or private, or correspondence, and those who obtained the Degree through the Open University system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible.
    • A candidate with 45% or more in B.Ed. or other PG courses is also eligible to seek admission in 3 years LL.B., even if he/she secure less than 45% at the degree level.
