    Admission Details

    The Selection is based on the NEET exams conducted once a year by CBSE.

    Admission is based on NEET entrance exam.

    Eligibility Criteria

    1. The candidates should have passed the two years PUC examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board, Karnataka State, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent to it by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. OR The candidates should have passed the BSc examination of Bangalore University or any other statutory University provided he/she has passed the BSc examination with not less than three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.

    2. The Candidates should have secured not less than 50% of the total marks in Science subjects taken altogether at the qualifying examination and CET/COMED-K. However, the OBC-3A category and SC/ST students of Karnataka are required to secure 40% of the total marks.

    3. The Candidate should have completed seventeen years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

    4. Foreign students desiring admission should produce:

    (a) A No Objection Certificate from the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.

    (b) An eligibility Certificate from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

    (c) Student Visa.

    • The higher secondary examination of the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after 12 years of study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than core course of English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education OR other qualifications as recognized by Medical Council of India.
    • The Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination which is the 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination. The last two years of study, comprising Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject, must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In addition, in the competitive entrance test, the candidate must have secured not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
    • In respect of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribes, or Other Backward Class, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination will be 40% instead of 50% as stated above.
