    Admission based on merit of the candidates who will clear Physical Fitness Test as per criteria

     Admission as per NCTE & Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University, Patiala, norms.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter-College/ Inter-Zonal/ District School Competition in Sports and games as recognized by AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of INDIA
    • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks.
    • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as compulsory/elective subject.
    • Bachelor's degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/Inter University/State Competitions or Secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd Position in Inter College/Inter Zonal/ District/ School Competition in Sports and games as recognized by AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of INDIA
    • Bachelor's Degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd
      or 3rd position in national/Inter University competition in sports and games recognized
      by respective federations/ AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of INDIA

    A candidate who has passed any one of the following examinations shall be eligible to join the course.

    (A). Candidates with at least 45% marks in the senior secondary examination(+2) or its equivalent (recognized by the university), are eligible for admission.

    (B). For those who are position holders (1st, 2nd or 3rd) in District /state level sports/games and those who have participated in the national level sports/games competition which recognized by the India Olympic Association, the minimum percentage of marks in senior secondary examination [+ 2] shall be at least 40%.

    (C). Every candidate shall be required to appear in a physical fitness test, as per the events mentioned *. Candidates failing in physical fitness tests shall not be considered for admission.

    (D). The reservation for SC/ST/ OBC categories shall be per the rule of the central Government /state Government, whichever is applicable.
