Admission will be based on merit of the candidate in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Department

Admission of students shall be made strictly on the basis of merit adjudged through All-India Common Entrance Test or through Central universities Common Entrance Test(CUCET), wherever applicable, aimed at assessing knowledge, comprehension and aptitude of the student to pursue higher studies through written test/viva/group discussion /personal interview or a combination of these.

• Bachelor in Life Sciences/Nutrition or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto or higher degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
• Any medical (MBBS, BDS, BAMS)/BPT/allied Medical Sciences degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate

Bachelors’ Degree in Nutrition/food and Nutrition/food technology/food sciences/Life Sciences/ any other branch of Science/or any other examination recognized equivalent there to or higher degree, any medical (MBBS, BDS, BAMS) BPT/Allied Medical Sciences degree with 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates and must have at least one course in Biology at 12^th standard/ Intermediate level.
