A candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology 

Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination or its equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate in the science subject.
