Students who qualify in the EAMCET entrance test will be admitted strictly on a merit basis.

The Admission into under Graduate programmes is through a state level common entrance test EAMCET.

• A candidate should possess the eligibility of 10+2 qualification from the Board of Intermediate, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as his/her optional subjects, or any other equivalent examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
• A student to step in a four-year degree course in Engineering, except NRI quota, must qualify in "Engineering, Agricultural Sciences and Medical Common Entrance Test" (EAMCET), a State-Level Entrance Test conducted by the Govt. Of Andhra Pradesh.

A pass in Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or any equivalent examination recognized by Sri Venkateswara University.

Lateral Entry- Engineering Diploma holders are admitted directly into B.Tech second year i.e. third semester in their respective branches based on their ranks in A.P. Engineering Common Entrance Test (APECET) conducted by Govt. of A.P. Admissions are made by the Convener, APECET.
