• Admission Eligibility Criteria: 
• PCMB/PCM applicants who have attempted Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE 2026 with 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 50% in Mathematics in +2/HSC/Intermediate examination are eligible for admission to all B. Tech Programmes. 
• PCMB/PCB applicants who have attempted Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (BPCEA) in VITEEE 2026 or PCB applicants who have attempted Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and Aptitude (MPCEA) in VITEEE 2026 with 60% aggregate marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 50% in Biology in +2/HSC/Intermediate examination are eligible for admission to the following programmes only. 
•  B.Tech. Biotechnology (VIT-Vellore & VIT-Chennai) B.Tech. Computer Science and Engg. (Bioinformatics), (VIT - Vellore) B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engg. (Biomedical Engineering), (VIT - Vellore) B.Tech. Health Sciences and Technology (VIT - Vellore) B.Tech. Bioengineering (VIT - Bhopal) B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (Health Informatics), (VIT - Bhopal) B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering (Education Technology), (VIT-Bhopal)

• Merit list will be prepared on the basis of CET score given by the candidate at the time of online registration. 
•  Preferences once given in online registration will not be changed later at any reason. 
• Candidate can check their Merit / Offer status from their dashboard as per the specified in important dates. The decision of the institute will be final       in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
•   Candidates who have not appeared for CET may also apply subject to availability of seats. 
• If seats remain vacant after admitting CET candidate then Non CET candidate will be admitted on the basis of 10 + 2 or equivalent exam marks of PCM / PCB & the preferences given by the candidate at the time of Online registration.

a. Nationality :

The applicant for VITEEE should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National/OCI/PIO Holder. 

b. Age Limit:

 Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2004 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2026. The date of birth as recorded in the High School Certificate will be considered authentic. Candidates who fail to produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling, shall stand disqualified. 

c. Qualifying Examination:

Candidates appearing for the VITEEE-2026 should have either completed or shall be appearing in any one of the following qualifying examinations, in 2026.

i. The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to 10+2 examination. 

ii. Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. 

iii. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level. 

iv. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University/Pearson Edexcel regulated by UK. For PCM: Physics & Mathematics - A Level/ Chemistry - A/AS Level and English - A/AS Level For PCB: Physics & Biology - A Level/ Chemistry - A/AS Level and English - A/AS Level 

v. High School Certificate Examination of the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. For PCM: Physics & Mathematics - HL, Chemistry - SL/HL For PCB: Physics & Biology - HL, Chemistry - SL/HL 

vi. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board.

 vii. Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India should produce an equivalence certificate to the effect that the examination they have passed equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage. 

Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time and Formal Education with English as is one of the subject are eligible to apply. 

 For Indian nationals, attending VITEEE 2026 is mandatory to be eligible for B. Tech. admission.

• 10 + 2 or equivalent exam with science or science vocaonal with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English as compulsory subjects. Obtained minimum 45% marks in (PCM/PCB).
