For admission to the professional course like Pharm.D, the State Government conducts an entrance exam called TS EAMCET every year in the month of April/ May. 70% of seats are filled through the TS EAMCET rank by the Convener, and 30% seats are filled by the management, based on the merit at Intermediate or as per the State government-prescribed rules from time to time.

The students are given ranks based on the marks obtained in the test and percentage of marks at the intermediate level (Bi.P.C)/M.P.C or 10 + 2 level.

The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject. OR Passed Diploma in Pharmacy.
