The qualifying marks for AP Pharm.D admission for General Category candidates are 25% in the entrance test. Whereas for SC/ST candidates, there are no qualifying marks as such. To be eligible for AP Pharm.D admissions, these candidates must secure a non-zero score in the AP EAMCET entrance test. For the Andhra Pradesh Pharm.D, the ranking procedure candidate must have a valid rank in AP EAMCET. The ranking will be done on the basis of normalised marks. In the normalised process, 75% weightage is given to the entrance test (EAMCET score), and the remaining 25% is given to marks in the 2nd year intermediate. This rank is considered valid for admission to the Pharm.D course in AP.

Category-A Quota:
The college reserves 85% of seats for Category-A quota, which is filled by the State Govt through APSCHE. Admissions into all the pharmacy programs under Category-A will be done through AP EAPCET entrance and counseling by the state government for Pharm D.

Category-B Quota: (Management Quota):
VIPS Admissions under Management Quota for the year is open for Pharm D, as per the schedule given by APSCHE from time to time. 

The Candidate should be of Indian Nationality/ PIO/ OCI Card Holders and must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Also, a candidate should qualify for either Local/ Non- Local status requirements. Candidates who migrated from Telangana to AP in 2014 must produce a local status certificate.

The candidate should pass (10+2) /Intermediate / or an equivalent examination in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology, (PCM/PCB) with a minimum of 50% marks in PCM/PCB. For SC/ST- 45% in PCM/PCB.
