Seats are filled through merit in EAMCET. Category B seats are filled based on percentage marks either in aggregate or in groups of 10+2 Examination or based on EAMCET rank.

• Higher Secondary Examination of (10 + 2) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with MPC/ BiPC.
• Any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the AU as equivalent thereto.
• The candidates who possess the Diploma in Pharmacy awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, are eligible for admission to the II year 1^st semester of the B.Pharm Degree Programs in affiliated colleges through a lateral entry system.
• The eligibility criteria such as marks, number of attempts physical fitness and the mode of admission shall be as prescribed by the University from time to time.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject. OR Passed a Diploma in Pharmacy.
