Admission to an Online MSc in Data Science at Manipal Academy of Higher Education is an online process. The admission process includes the submission of a duly filled and signed online admission form along with the relevant documents and the admission fee as applicable.

Thereafter, candidates would be provided with essential credentials and details to join the programme.

Admission is through an entrance examination to be conducted at centres throughout the country on Tuesday, 15th May, followed by an interview in Chennai.

To be eligible for the MAHE Online MSc in Data Science, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria defined by the university. As per the eligibility requirements:

• Candidates must have completed a 10+2+3 year bachelor’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Engineering / Technology or any other discipline with a minimum of two years of learning Mathematics or Statistics from a recognised university.

• Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in graduation. 

• Work experience is not mandatory, however, having the same would add greater advantages.

Students who have obtained, or expect to obtain, undergraduate degrees such as B.A., B.Sc., B.Math., B.Stat., B.E., B.Tech., with a background in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science, are eligible to apply for the programme.
