NMAT by GMAC test is a mandatory test for applying to the following NMIMS University programs 

The score of the NMAT by GMAC Test for all the NMIMS applicants will be submitted by GMAC electronically to NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University).

 Stage 3 

Candidates' academic performance, relevant work experience, and other similar inputs.

• It is mandatory for candidates to fill in the NMIMS application form on www.nmims.edu to confirm his candidature and be in the NMIMS admission programs for the Batch.

• The preferences once given cannot be changed later on. Candidates are advised to check the information entered in the online registration application form very carefully while registering and again before submitting the application as they will not be allowed to make any changes after submitting the application.

• The candidates are advised to note their NMAT by GMAC / NMIMS Application number. The further communication/process will be as per NMAT by GMAC / NMIMS Application number only.

Candidates aspiring to join MBA programme offered by Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad have to take the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test 2025. A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test & also register for the institute by paying separate programme registration fees.

If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the GE-PI process conducted by the institute individually.

Merit list will be based on the following parameters: -

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum 50% marks in the aggregate plus a minimum two-years of industry experience is desirable.

• Candidate should be Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).
• Final year appearing students can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes.)
• A Candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of India Universities (AIU)
