    (i) The selection of students to a Medical / Dental College shall be based solely on the All India merit of the candidate through NEET 2018.

    (ii) To be eligible for the Rajasthan MBBS & BDS Admissions 2018, the candidate must have fulfilled the eligibility criteria as mentioned in clause 3.

    (iii) The eligible qualified candidates in the NEET 2018 will be admitted in the order of merit for the general as well as reserved seats excepting the seats belonging to the category of the sub-clause 'd' of clause-4 in which case it would be a priority- cummerit.

    Eligibility Criteria

    The Senior Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, which is equivalent to 10+2 after a period of 12 years study, the last 2 years of study must comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject. Provided that two years of regular and continuous study of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology taken together shall be required at 10+2 level for all the candidates. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from Open Schools or as Private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test. Furthermore, the study of Biology/Biotechnology as an Additional Subject at 10+2 level also shall not permissible.

    The candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission. He must have passed 10+2 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English, and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together be 40% instead of 50%.
