The maximum number of students to be admitted to the course is 60 out of which 30 seats (Govt. seats) will be filled from the allotment List of the Commissioner for Entrance examinations. Govt. of Kerala after conducting the Kerala Law Entrance Test every Year. The remaining 30 seats (Management seats will be filled by the management as per the institutional norms based on Merits.)

Candidates should have passed the higher secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Education Kerala or an Examination in 10+2 Course of Schooling or any other Examination considered as equivalent to thereof by the University of Calicut. Candidates should produce the pass certificate and Mark list of the qualifying examination at the time of admission. No candidates shall be admitted to the course unless she/he passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate. However candidates belonging to the scheduled casts /scheduled tribes need only 40% in the aggregate. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from any state other than the state of Kerala. Shall produce the Eligibility Certificate of the University of Calicut at the time of admission.

The Candidate should pass any pre-degree or +2 any stream as per the norms prescribed by the BCI, Govt: of Kerala, and Calicut University.
