Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (XII) Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics and secured a minimum of 45% marks. ie: Not less than 135 marks out of 300 Marks (minimum 40% marks, i.e., not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of a candidate of Backward Class category belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/mathematics added together (maximum marks obtained in biology/mathematic shall be considered for the purpose of addition.
