Candidates must appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) or KMAT Kerala, which evaluate quantitative, verbal, and logical reasoning abilities. A valid score in either of these tests is a prerequisite for admission.

• A student holding any Under-Graduate degree from a regular affiliated college or holding an Under-Graduate degree as distance education from any universities in Kerala would be eligible.

• Student should secure a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the degree final examination.

The Candidates should have passed any degree of the University of Calicut (including degree programmes of SDE, University of Calicut) or of any other University, institute, or institution recognized by the UGC or AICTE. Programmes of other Universities or institutions shall be in a 10+2+3 pattern (or 10+ 2+ 4) under the regular stream. In all the cases, the student should have passed the bachelor's degree examination with not less than 50 % marks.
