• The Candidate should pass a Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent Examination in English.
• Three-Year Diploma Courses after S.S.C., i.e., 10th standard, of the Board of Technical Education conducted by the Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
• Two-Year Diploma in Pharmacy after HSC, of the Board of Technical Education conducted by the Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.

• Qualifying Examination: Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship 
• Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. 
• Passed Diploma/ D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector 
• DYPIU will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the program.
