The candidate should pass the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology, Or A pass in D.Pharma completed at 17 years of age. 

• The Candidate passed in any of the following examinations–
• Students who have passed the years P.U.C. examination of Karnataka.
  P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or University established by law in India with English as one of the subjects and Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects-Mathematics or Biology, or P.C.M.B.
• Students who have passed the D. Pharm course from institutions approved by the Pharmacy Council of India U/S 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
• Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
• Age-Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
