For 2-Year Programme:

• Applicants must have secured 50% of marks in aggregate or equal CGPA, in bachelor's course from a university that is recognized. Bachelor's degrees after the following are acceptable:
• Nutrition, Home Science, Nursing, Food Technology, Medical Lab Technology, Biochemistry, Micro Biology, Physiology, Zoology, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Dental Sciences, Life Science, Sports Sciences or equivalent examination.

For 1-Year Programme:

• Applicants should have achieved 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, in bachelor degree course from a reputed university. Bachelor degree as below are acceptable:
• Nutrition, Home Science, Nursing, Food Technology, Medical Lab Technology, Biochemistry, Micro Biology, Physiology, Zoology, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Dental Sciences, Life Science or Sports Sciences or equivalent test.

a. Candidates with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board. 

b. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for Unreserved (UR) Category candidates.

 c. Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the central government having Science subjects and English only. 

d. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission to the Paramedical Course(s). 

e. Color Blind candidates are eligible provided that color corrective contact lenses and spectacles are worn by such candidates.

 f. The selection of candidates will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board appointed by the University.
