• In Telangana, for admission to the B.Pharm course, the Govt of Telangana conducts an entrance exam called TS EAMCET every year in the month of April/May.
• The students are given ranks based on the marks obtained in the test. Admissions are conducted systematically by means of counseling based on the rank by the convener of TS EAMCET.

Thus, the applicants have an opportunity to choose the course and college depending on their scores and the availability of seats. 70% of the seats are filled by the rank obtained in EAMCET by the convener, and 30% of seats are filled by the Management, based on the merit at Intermediate or any other equivalent 10+2 examination, by rules prescribed by the State Government from time to time.

• A candidate for admission must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education or equivalent there to.
• All the eligible applicants will have to pass the Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Telangana. The admissions are based on merit secured at the Entrance Examination.
