Admissions shall be on the basis of merit. Merit shall be determined on the basis of the marks obtained in the admission test PGCET. Degree marks may be considered for eligibility and for determining the merit in cases where the entrance marks are equal.

Admission to the institute is based on the PGCET conducted by the competent authority.

Master of Business Administration shall be a pass in Bachelor Degree with not less than 45% in respect of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Category-I and not less than 50% of the aggregate including language subjects in all the years of course of study for others.

Candidates who have completed the UG degree Program of Karnataka State University or its equivalent as notified by the university from time to time. Candidates are required to be admitted through PGCET, which KEA conducts.
