• Admissions to Convener Quota are made by the Convener, Lancet. In addition to the above-stated eligibility criteria, admissions are made subject to various Government Orders of the AP State Government, the Rules of the Bar Council of India, and the Rules of SV University.
• Admissions into the Management Quota are made by the Management of the college.

• A pass in Law CET
• Degree or its equivalent (in 10 + 2 +3 pattern) of a recognized University
• A pass in the qualifying examination with 45% marks (including languages).  44.5% is rounded up to 45%.
• For SC/ ST candidates, the minimum percentage required is 45%.
• A candidate who has secured 45% or more in B.Ed. or P.G. is also eligible, even if one secures less than 45% in the Degree course.
• A candidate who has obtained a Graduation or P.G. Degree through the Open University System directly without having any basic qualification for pursuing such study is not eligible for admission into a law course.

The candidate should be a Graduate from any recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks General (40% for S.C. /ST. students) in one attempt (No Compartment). Students who have appeared for their final year degree examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to the submission of the passing certificate by the announced date.
